Chock-a-Block at Christmas

Right now, the Hobart, Burnie and Devonport Dogs’ Homes have over 100 lovely dogs of all shapes and sizes in need of permanent homes. Many have been waiting for more than eight months for their luck to change.

At the Dogs’ Homes there is no time limit placed on dogs waiting to be adopted. Dogs are cared for at the Dogs’ Homes or with a foster carer until a permanent home is found — whether that takes six days, six weeks or six months. By giving a dog a home, you are giving a deserving dog a second chance at life.

Every year, thousands of people in Tasmania choose to adopt a homeless dog and they say how good it feels to know they’ve saved a life.  Adoption saves lives — be a life saver this summer

Angie loves everyone and would like a special person to love her in return. She has been in residence at the Devonport Dogs Home for 8 months.
